Hostel Policies & Guidelines

We strive to provide a comfortable and friendly environment for all guests.

General Guidelines

Payment is required in advance for all bookings.
Treat staff and guests with respect.
Clean up after yourself in the kitchen (wash, dry, and store dishes).
Label your food with your name and checkout date.
A $30 fine applies to guests who do not tidy up.

House Rules

No smoking inside (outdoor areas only).
No drug use on the property.
No alcohol after 10 PM.
No swimming or pool use after 10 PM.
No noise after 10 PM.
No outside visitors after 10 PM.
Do not share your Goki code.
No glass in the pool area.
No pets allowed.
No candles allowed.

Important Policies

Guests not following these guidelines will be asked to leave without a refund.

A pre-authorisation is placed on your card at booking. Any damages or violations will be charged.

No refunds within 14 days of booking.

Zero tolerance policy: Violations result in immediate removal without refund.

Local Booking Policy

The Espy Hostel does not accept locals or travelers from within QLD. Only interstate and international travelers may book. Local bookings will be refused at check-in.
